Generalized Approach for Obtaining Volume of Object Symmetrical About its Axis of Rotation

Obtaining volume of some standard objects such as cube, cone, cylinder etc, and their combinations are easy as there is standard formula for each of them. However, the objects around us may not belong to these group and there may not be standard formula for it. It is also not intelligent to have the formula for calculation of volume of each of the object around us. This project presents a generalized mathematical approach that may be applied to any object that are symmetrical about their axis of rotation. One of the advantages of this mathematical approach of finding the volume is that the object can be mass produced through the use of 3D printer. This mathematical approach also gives a hint of scaling down or scaling up the object through suitable scaling of the parameter.
