This paper presents a direct functional analysis of a relationship between input and output values. This relationship is what is considered a function. We can use this function to predict the results if a specific input is given. We know that we want this relationship to be consistent with the results we expect by the input. The application of this idea to the way in which a vending machine (VM) works is a direct input output example. In this application of reviewing data and extending on research from a prior cross-sectional study, we can analyze consumption and attitude towards vending machine trends at a university campus.
