For Your Information
Red arrows This webpage was created as part of the course requirements for Internet Resources offered in the School of Library and Information Science at the University of South Florida. I chose to do my page on this information because my first motorcycle required inspection of the valves every 3,500 miles. At approximately $165 every 3,500 miles I decided it was costing me to much to ride. I had to look for a bike that did not require such a short interval between valve inspections. Once I started researching for my next purchase I soon realized it was difficult to find this information. Because of the problems that I had I decided to create a database of valve inspection intervals.

Red arrows I would like to thank Bruce of Ducati USA for his quick response to my initial enquiry of information for this page. He was also kind enough to extend an invitation for me to attend a Technical Clinic Ducati was holding in Daytona. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend.

Red arrows I would like to thank Michelle Morse of Yamaha Motorcycles. Upon receiving my letter, Michelle sent me several owner's manuals to help me research the required information.

Red arrows I would like to thank Suzuki Motorcycles. Although they were unable to send me any information on their products, they did take the time to offer me search strategies to help in my endeavor.

Red arrows I would like to thank Jason Wilson and Andrew Breidenbaugh for their expertise in HTML. Jason also scanned the photographs that appear at the bottom of this page.

Red arrows I would like to thank my mother-in-law. I know son-in-laws are not supposed to get along with their in-laws, but I could do nothing but enjoy mine. There are so many things to thank her for that I could not possibly list them all here. I would like to say that her grand-doggers could not have a better grandmother.

Red arrows I would like to thank my sisters for marrying well and for bringing four beautiful children into this world.

Red arrows Finally, I would like to thank my parents for taking care of me when I could not care for myself. And, for helping me realize when I could.
