Class Materials & Research Website
Course Materials.
My courses at the University of South
Florida are run through Blackboard, of
course. That's were you will find
grades. But my instructional materials
- slide shows, old exams, lab outlines,
etc., can be found here for
undergraduate and graduate courses.
Research Materials,
Publications and
Presentations.
You can download computer
programs, data from my publications
and conference presentations, and pdf
versions of pubs.

Some things that happened here.
I started putting stuff on the web back in the 90s, when we had to code .html by hand and
walk 30 miles in the snow to school, up hill both ways. I loved how computers could create
perfect math equations and also beautiful graphs of the sort I never could draw. When
Powerpoint came along, I was one of the first to use it instead of the chalkboard for
classroom presentations. I managed to teach in classrooms containing computers and
projectors. Now students expect all sorts of electronic support materials for classes, and
many courses are fully implemented through computers, mostly online. Schools use
programs such as Blackboard to keep out people who have not paid for courses. But I still
like the idea of open exchange of ideas and materials and so this website continues.
If you spot mistakes, please let me know. If you have suggestions for content or links to
cool stuff that would be helpful, feel free to send me an email.
