Hampton, Shelton M. 1991. Crime Prevention Networks Among Black Religious Organizations in Tampa, Florida.

Abstract: This thesis researched some selected Black religious organizations in the Tampa area in an effort to determine perceptions on crime problems and prevention in their area. The method of research was a network analysis by personal interviews, historical analysis and using computer programs developed for network studies. Conclusions gained in the research established that crime problems and prevention were best handled as a community concern and not to be left in the control of a single agency, policy or individual.
